This is a family website of the Vickery's travels over the last few years.  We wanted a place to store all our photos and memories in one permanent location not only for ourselves but our new friends and fellow travelers from these trips.  Unfortunately, the older trips are incomplete as I never seem to find the time to complete them.

   The last few years we've traveled on our own or with Grand Circle Travel (and Overseas Adventure Travel, or OAT).  We've really enjoyed their small boat adventures, the gourmet food with wine, and very experienced fellow travelers.  Also, long bus rides, daily unpacking and repacking, poor food, and the numerous "optional" tours have been happily left behind.

   Each of the travels has a daily itinerary, a daily journal, and pictures.  Earlier tours have pictures taken with my old camcorder and they are not very sharp.  For the Greece 2004 travel I finally got a camcorder that can take decent still photos.

   I'm not sure why anyone would be interested in the daily journals, except possibly someone that traveled on the tour with us.  They are semi personal and full of grammatical errors but they bring back memories for us.

  If you stumble across this website and have some good trips and/or tour companies that you really enjoyed please contact me.  We are considering new ideas such as an Italian or Dutch bicycle tour or another barge tour (with Overseas Adventure Travel) through Burgundy.   Also, Machu Pichu, Costa Rica, Egypt and China are places we would like to see someday.
